How do I change the English language fonts to  'European' characters?

   å ø æ (Danish letters)

All of our flash files use 'external' text files, so you can easily update the information using a standard text editor or FrontPage.

The downside to using external text files, is that it is not possible to use special characters, such as

å ø æ (Danish letters) without first embedding the character set into the flash source file (fla).

We do not embed the character sets as there are a total of 35969 potential characters to embed, thus creating a HUGE file size. If we embed only the character sets you need, then it's much smaller, and visitor friendly.

HOWEVER, we can hard code these characters into the Flash files using Macromedia Flash MX / 2004 / 0r 8.

Please review the available character sets below, and contact our design team with your particular requirements.

We can modify the Flash files for you, to display International Character sets for:

  • Basic Latin
  • Japanese Kana
  • Japanese Kanji
  • Japanese (All)
  • Basic Hangul
  • Hangul (All)
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Chinese (All)
  • Thai
  • Devanagari
  • Hebrew
  • Arabic
  • Latin I
  • Latin Ext A
  • Latin Ext B
  • Latin Ext Addn'l
  • Greek
  • Cyrillic
  • Armenian

We are continually adding new tutorials. You can request a video tutorial, specific to your needs and we'll upload the tutorial to our members tutorial database for all to share in. As many of the requests dealing with special characters are unique, or even 'one time' questions we'll answer them on a one on one basis.

We do provide all the editable files. You can download the 30 day trial version of Flash 8 if you do not own a licensed version of the software. We ask that you contact our support team with your specific requirements and we can either update the files for you, or provide language specific instructions.
